Still Alive!

I've finally come out of hibernation mode. The sun shines almost every day, and I don't have to wear a damn coat anymore! (Not that I dislike them, I just got tired of wearing one everyday)

It's been pretty crazy here for me lately. First I got my camera stolen, violently ripped from my back at 7am! Luckily my adrenaline took over, I ran after the guy. I thought he had disappeared behind some cars off into a side street, but I waited. I saw him 5 minutes later walking down to cross the street. I approached him and saw my camera strap hanging from his coat. I tore open his coat and there was my camera cradled under his arm. I grabbed it and ran as fast as I could into the métro. I was lucky that time. 
This week I was not so lucky. Someone stole my wallet! You gotta love people. (Insert heavy sarcasm) What posses people to do these things? I guess I can try to put myself in their shoes... but I don't think I will ever really understand how people can live with themselves after doing something so rude to a fellow human being. 
I didn't have any issues with stealing until now, and I've been here for about 7 months. I guess my luck finally ran out. 
But I have been able to finally take some photos, cause my camera FINALLY came 2 months after my parents sent it!

I've been extremely lucky to have met a really amazing group of Frenchies. They know the best places, for eating, drinking..... well for everything really. Even though my things keep getting stolen, I at least know that I have a great group of people who can be there to help me :)     (Awww, how cheezy of me)
